Hidden Wonders of Korea – Scientific Wisdom to benefit the all mankind

In the last lecture, we took a look at a few hidden wonders and how the spirit behind their creation has carried through modernly. Since ancient times, Korea has developed its own distinguished and sophisticated cultural civilization in Asia and has been at the cutting edge of art and science. We will visit museums and other sites that attest to Korea’s current developments in science and technology. 

We will take a walk to the Gyeongbokgung Palace to appreciate how the Joseon Kings tried to serve the people. Then we will move to the Gwangwhamun Plaza to explore the scientific legacies King Sejong the Great.

Lim Young Hee is the director of KSCPP since 2005, and is dedicated to promoting Korean culture and history and to raising the brand value of Korea throughout the world.

Korean Sprit and Culture Promotion Project is a non-profit organization established in September, 2005. The headquarters is in Seoul, Korea with branches in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Los Angeles, as well as in Germany and the United Kingdom. It has distributed 750,000 copies of eight different books on topics that include Korean heroes, Korean legacies, and Korean cuisine. It has presented over 9,500 films about Korean culture around the world and has held ten essay contests in the United States to promote the founding philosophy of Korea.
